Product engineering
End-to-end design and development of web applications and SaaS products — interface, frontend, backend, data layer and deployment, handled as one piece of work rather than four handoffs.
A software studio — est. 2026
monoraft is a software development studio building custom web applications, SaaS products and cloud systems. One project at a time, held to a standard that outlasts the trend that inspired it.
Most software is over-built and under-considered. We do the opposite — less surface, more care, nothing that doesn't earn its place.
Coming soon
We'd rather show it when it's ready than tease a mockup. In the meantime the studio takes on client work — that's where the shipped systems live.

End-to-end design and development of web applications and SaaS products — interface, frontend, backend, data layer and deployment, handled as one piece of work rather than four handoffs.
02
Taking a single idea from nothing to a working product real users can use. Fixed scope, fixed price, a product in production at the end of it — not a prototype that needs rebuilding.
03
The infrastructure a production system actually runs on: deployment pipelines, environments, observability and the data layer. Built so it stays cheap to run and boring to operate.
04
Threat modelling, hardening and security review for applications handling sensitive data — drawn from seven years shipping systems in healthcare, biotech and security.
a.
Every feature is a liability until proven otherwise. We start from the smallest thing that could work and add only what the product genuinely asks for.
b.
Polish isn't something we bolt on at the end. Typography, motion, edge cases and empty states are designed from day one, because that's where the product lives.
c.
We put working software in front of real people early, then spend the time most teams skip — the second and third pass that turns "fine" into something worth keeping.
d.
No gradients to date it, no framework churn to chase. We choose the durable option over the fashionable one, so the thing we ship still holds up in ten years.
Token-optimized middleware for LLM coding agents. Compacts shell output before it reaches the model — 30–90% fewer tokens on every command. A single Go binary.
GitHub →Shape-Oriented Object Notation — the token-efficient replacement for JSON in LLM prompts. Declares the shape once, streams positional values. ~60% smaller, lossless, never worse than JSON.
GitHub →Compact, LLM-friendly descriptions of large JSON payloads. Turns multi-megabyte API responses into a few kilobytes of structured, type-aware description an LLM can reason about.
GitHub →"I started monoraft because I was tired of software that did too much and cared too little. This is the studio I wished I could hire."
Yasin Ughur is a senior software engineer and a graduate of Sabancı University, with seven years across software, cybersecurity and cloud — shipping production systems for U.S. companies in healthcare, biotech, media, security and AI. He founded monoraft in 2026 and does the engineering himself.
monoraft builds custom software: web applications, SaaS products, internal tools and the cloud infrastructure behind them. Work usually spans the whole product — interface design, frontend, backend, data layer and deployment — rather than a single slice of it.
Founders and small teams with one clearly defined thing they need built well. It's a poor fit for staffing a large existing team or maintaining legacy systems, and a good fit for taking an idea from nothing to a product in production.
Most engagements run between six and sixteen weeks, depending on scope. monoraft works on one project at a time, so the timeline is a real timeline rather than a share of split attention.
Projects are quoted as a fixed scope with a fixed price rather than billed hourly, so the cost is known before work starts. Pricing depends on scope — email [email protected] with what you're building for an estimate.
Yasin Ughur, the founder, does the engineering. monoraft is deliberately small and doesn't subcontract client work out to an agency bench.
Yes. monoraft has shipped production systems for U.S. companies in healthcare, biotech, media, security and AI, and works remotely with overlapping hours arranged per project.
Email [email protected] describing what you're building. You'll get a reply within two working days with an honest answer on whether monoraft is the right team for it.
